End of TW Chapter

Comes to this day when every trip has an ending , also the saddest one . I have a bad habit of thinking not going back to homeland every time visit other countries , damn... should've become an adventurer hahahha . We wake early for the flight back to MY , not forgetting to take some final shot of the hostel .

Flip Flop Hostel

The guys with our friendly hostess

Yeap group photos are necessary in the leaving part , and also the nightmare of huge ass luggages .
Bought too much in TW and the end means the guys hard time carrying all of those XD . We head to Tao Yuan Airport by bullet train , pretty convenient just like HK (Damn i miss HK) .

The crazy boyfriend

They say we look alike ?

Camwhore Time~~~

It doesn't take long til we reach the airport , checked in everything and awaiting for the plane to arrive . Feel really unwilling to go back , i know the word's a bit harsh but who doesn't wish to stay longer here ? I will be back TW , until next time... goodbye Taiwan .

Tam Shui 2,TW Chapter

As mention last week , we're at the harbour of Tam Shui for the famous Valentine's Bridge here . Unique as it is Penang Bridge similar but only for pedestrian walking , superb view as it is near the evening . We witness together the beautiful sunset in this side of the globe .

I wonder why it ain't called Lover's Bridge instead ?

The perfect timing...

More scenery of the sunset harbour

Yeap it is still quite hot but the sunset view make everything worth it . Nothing better than sunset by the harbour right , there's a sense of peaceful and calm here .

Poser time !!! XD

Almost time for dinner thus end our visit at Tam Shui , the journey back to Taipei is far and everyone's starving as well as tired like hell . Our last day in TW ended perfectly , with the view of sunset mark the final chapter of TW .

Oh before i forget , due to the dinner isn't quite satisfactory so the guys decide to crash the mart . Yes it's supper at the final hour . I guess that happens to everyone on trip right ? But trust me , you won't believe the varieties of food in a TW convenience store .

Yes its 關東煮 in 7 Eleven !

Not to mention the hot dogs right , a must have

even pork buns for god sake , hot warm as well .

We all had a great late night snack before heading to bed . All was satisfied as preparing to head back  Malaysia the next day...

Tam Shui,TW Chapter

The last day before we fly back to MY , went to the tourist attraction jetty of TW . Tam Shui is a fascinating place with lots of boats and sea view . Definitely a great place for some photo enthusiasts , but just like Jiu Fen it's kinda far from Taipei . So be prepare for a long train ride again .

RM5 for whole tray , Dragon i can kiss my ass XD

The best breakie ever in this trip - purple TW burger

With size almost as big as my head XD

Before the journey to Tam Shui , we had to fill up the tummy right . So off to a breakie shop famous for it's mini tray bun 小籠包 and another super rare bun , 香芋饅頭豬扒蛋卷包 . It's look might be eerie cause the purple colour , but all the flavours blend together perfectly . Takes 2 to share though .

Skipped all the train and bus ride , finally we're here at Tam Shui . Welcoming us is that huge ship liked resort hotel , i think it'll be relaxing to stay there but due to distance between Taipei just forget bout it .
Salty scent of sea keep blowing as we strolling around , feels good just like beachside .

One thing is the weather insanely hot , the super intense heat almost melt everyone . So we decide to have some ice cream for drop off the raging heat , a very long long ice cream that is .

Everybody chill themselves out before continue walking up to the Lover's Bridge , which will be cover on the next post due to this one already as long as our ice creams on hand . Opps , melting fast gotta finish it .

Jiu Fen 2,TW Chapter

Continue with the tales of Jiu Fen , because there's alot to cover in this place so it had to be divided two days for posting . So let's continue with the non-stop eating .

The best in Jiu Fen according to my sis

Time to put it to the test... Nyummm

The signboard might read fishball but actually the star of this shop is the minced meat rice 滷肉飯 , the most popular TW snack food . Why i called it snack instead of main dish ? Well the portion is really mini , i think one can finish a bowl with 3 bite or so . Proved ? Here's two sample of it .

The very lady liked mom eating

The barbarian liked boyfriend eating =.=|||

Hope you have a great laugh of that hahhaha , told you its a mini portion right ? In this state of mind all of us are half full but the journey must go on , to finish the quest of delicacies in Jiu Fen . After two hot dishes i guess it's time for some dessert right , so off for some mouth watering snowflakes .

Did you noticed all of them are 老店 ?

The snowflakes liked dessert !!!!

Next stop would be here , the Grandma Lai 賴阿婆 dessert shop . Also a must eat if ever came to Jiu Fen , the dessert is taro ball with different flavours mixture with flakes of ice in syrup . The taro ball texture is just as chewy as 莎莎公主 (popular TW gourmet TV host) said "真的好Q". Can't agree more than that .

Serenity view from the top

Lil' sis as model this time XD

Been wondering around Jiu Fen for awhile , finally we reach the peak of Jiu Fen mountain . Very nice view here , just as similar to the scenery of most 圍村 (suburban countryside) in HK . Cool breeze keep on blowing as our breathe stay still , amazed by the hills and sea view...

Jiu Fen,TW Chapter

This has to be the earliest day everyone wake up , we're heading to Jiu Fen , a popular tourist attraction up on mountain . Well i know Genting image sure pop up in your mind , but this is different . No casino nor theme park , just the richness culture of TW food and crafts . Oh and a sea view tagged along as well XD

It took quite a long journey to there , we have to take train to the area and change to shuttle bus to go all the way up mountain . Sounds like an adventure ? Yeah a tiring one indeed . All the vehicles crazily jammed all the way up , i'm glad myself ain't one of the driver .

At least everything was worth it , just look at the view here . And i'm not talking about the highest point of the mountain yet . Really amazing scenery , make me can't wait to climb the top of it . The climate is pretty cool and breezy here , totally different than Taipei .

Super crowded today's Jiu Fen since it's public holiday , damn it we have to force our way through the crowd to make it the 1st stop . I sincerely recommend this 60 years history shop , 魚丸伯仔 which means Fishball Uncle hahahha . Cut the joke and dig in to it specialties .

The real 古早味

Some insane fast fishballing skill

Check this mountain of fishballs out !!!!

Yes it's handmade fishball we're talking about here , really salute their way of doing business . After all these years the owner still hold tight to traditional way , this is going to be great for my taste bud .

TW Yong Tau Foo - 阿給

In love with the dried rice noodle

All here for only RM7.50 , cheapzzzzz

Commenting time again , not very feeling the fishball as flour seems to be more than fish meat . But the 阿給 is surprisingly tasting good , minced pork wrapped with dry tofu skin sealed up by the fish paste . Triple layer of texture sensation !!! More goodness coming up.
